  • Hi, I’m Kells. A writer, photographer, storyteller, can’t-sit-still-er. I combine visual and verbal narratives to create one-of-a-kind projects that are meant to be savored, not just consumed.

    I shoot in Bend, Oregon, and develop film in my basement. My writing has appeared in The New York Times, Fortune, Bustle, and elsewhere. My short fiction has been shortlisted for The Masters Review Summer Short Story Award for New Writers, and I was the recipient of theOffice Fellowship in Santa Monica, California.

    My fiction is represented by Nicole Cunningham at Trellis Literary Management.

  • I collaborate with people who want to tell a story, whether that be an editor commissioning an article or a creative who needs headshots. My favorite projects combine visuals and writing to create an immersive, truly moving experience.
